Astor Piazzolla continues to inspire the world with his mesmerizing, passionate music. Piazzolla Here & Now offers the listener dazzling, previously unheard violin and piano arrangements of many of his works, such as Las cuatro estaciones porteñas (The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires), Oblivion, and Allegro Tangabile. The songs Chiquilín de Bachín and Che, Tango, Che! — also new versions — were recorded in performance with actor Gabriella Cavallero and bassist Laura Ruas. Narrated by Cavallero, two excerpts from The Magic Fire, by Argentine-born playwright Lillian Garret-Groag, bring to light the underpinnings of the tango: the essence of what it is to be an immigrant and the heartfelt nostalgia for loves and homes left behind.

Tales arreglos incluyen Las cuatro estaciones porteñas, Oblivion, y Allegro Tangabile.
